PAINTING A BRIGHTER FUTURE SO EVERYONE HAS A PLACE TO REST

What you can do:

Homelessness in Dayton is OUR problem. It affects our neighbors, it effects us. Help us make a difference.

Paint a headboard -- your design, your story. Pick a Saturday in the month of June, July, August, or September. The painting will take place at Town and Country Fine Art Center. St. Vincent de Paul will recognize you or the group you represent. Paint will be provided (OR) Gather your friends, set up a public display, host a mixer, paint your headboard, raise funds. Ask your friends and family to support the cause. Contact Jennifer Nagel to register and schedule a Saturday at 937-222-7349 ext 410.

Tell the story. St. Vincent de Paul is doing much more than providing shelter. St Vincent de Paul is arming formerly homeless with skills. Did you know that St Vincent de Paul has a Wood Shop?

The St. Vincent de Paul Wood Shop makes beds, nightstands, dressers, furniture. The men who work in the Wood Shop were homeless or come to us through reentry. How better to contribute to the betterment of the homeless due to unemployment than to teach them a skill?
