When members of our community lack the finances to put food on their tables, St. Vincent de Paul can help. Bags of donated food are given to the needy the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, 9:00am - 11:00am, in the St. Vincent de Paul Community Store at 945 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd.
The head of household must bring a picture ID and the Social Security Card or health card for the other members of the household.
Recipients from all across the Miami Valley are eligible. Volunteers meet the Saturday morning before to bag donated food and also help distribute on Wednesday mornings.
We receive food, cleaning and paper products from The Food Bank, food drives, individuals like you and grant dollars to purchase additional stock. If you would like to organize a food drive at your church, parish, place of business, or other community organization, please call 222-5555, option 4, option 1.
Clients of our Community Food Pantry were recently invited by the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks to participate in an advocacy campaign to tell legislators how important local food panties are to them. Their messages expressing their needs and gratitude will move you.
