About HomeStar
A collaboration of St. Vincent Hotel, Inc. and the YWCA of Dayton, HomeStar is a housing first program that provides permanent housing for chronically homeless mentally ill people. HomeStar provides housing for 13 men at two different locations and the YWCA provides housing for 12 women. This exciting new program provides the following:
- Safe permanent housing
- A conducive environment for growth and development
- Long term case management services
- Meals
- Life skills education
- Clothing needs are supplied
- Personal care items
- Referrals to other appropriate agencies
