Safe Haven provides permanent housing for adults with a mental health diagnosis who have been chronically homeless. It is a Housing First program provided in collaboration with YWCA of Dayton. St. Vincent DePaul provides housing for 13 men and the YWCA Dayton provides housing for 12 women. Through Safe Haven, residents are provided with:
- Safe, permanent housing
- A loving environment conducive for growth and development of the mentally-ill
- Long-term case management
- Nutritious meals
- Life skills education
- Clothing and personal care items as needed
- Assistance in receiving help from other appropriate agencies
