The Transitional Housing program provides an integrated educational and residential support program for eligible homeless women and families with children who are drug and alcohol-free and committed to becoming self-sufficient and attaining permanent housing. We provide hope and opportunity in a loving, faith-based environment to both the unemployed and underemployed through:
  • Safe, affordable, monitored, transitional housing for up to two-years for 22 families and four single women in homes and apartments located throughout the community

  • Long-term case management services to coach and hold them accountable towards reaching their goals

  • An action plan which includes personal finances, home management, education, employment, permanent housing and personal development

  • Assistance in locating safe, affordable permanent housing and with transportation

  • Referrals to other appropriate support agencies to provide health care, mental health services, education facilities, legal services, child care and job placement

  • Referrals to other appropriate support agencies
Participants pay 30% of their adjusted gross income as a monthly fee. Housing includes electric, gas, water, sewer and trash pick-up. Participants are responsible for their own phone bills.
